Jasveen Batra, MD is a Family medicine attending recently graduated from Baptist Health - UAMS in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She completed her Bachelors in Health Science at Stony Brook University, NY and obtained her Medical Doctorate at Ross University Medical School. During her residency, she was elected as both Chief Resident, and Resident Representative for the Graduate Medical Education Committee.
Dr. Batra has been involved in the healthcare community for a long time. In her past she has worked as a scribe in the ICU and urgent care settings in Long Island, NY, as a nuclear medicine technologist at Northwell Health, a research physician at Albert Einstein in Bronx, NY, and most recently as a resident physician at BH-UAMS. She brings this combined experience and training to the Internal Medicine team at Prime Healthcare.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoy spending time with her close knit family.
