Rachel Litchfield(Joao) is a Gastroenterology practitioner. She completed her Bachelors in Sports Biology at Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is credentialed through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and initially began her career as a Hospitalist physician assistant at Hartford Hospital. At Hartford Hospital she treated a wide variety of both acute and chronic conditions involving several different medical specialties. Rachel strongly emphasizes patient centered care and puts patient safety and satisfaction as a top priority. She works closely with her patients to ensure open communication with her treatment plans.
In Rachel’s spare time she loves to bake and has been baking for several years. She also loves to exercise and stay healthy. She played tennis throughout her entire life and played four years of collegiate tennis at Springfield College. Rachel also has an incredible love for dogs and loves spending time with her dog Rocky at home.
